I Can Coaching

Working Together

Dear Prospective Client:

My current clients know me as a stickler for a solid plan of action and since I would not ask of anyone that which I would not ask of myself, this section of my website it dedicated to outlining exactly what you can expect when working with me.

My coaching style and philosophy
I coach small business owners, executives, managers, supervisors and other business professionals. I am a results-focused, creative & intuitive collaborator who strongly believes in the power of accountability, active listening, insightful questions and challenging self-limiting beliefs. My steadfast conviction that a person can change when properly motivated and achieve all that they are passionate about,  stems from the successful experiences that I’ve had with dozens of past clients who solidified my belief in the human spirit and all that it can overcome, manifest and achieve. I am a passionate motivator who, when asked, will always share honest, direct feedback, suggestions and opinions that adhere to my professional and ethical guidelines.

Determining if we’re the right coach-client fit
Typically, a relationship begins with an ice-breaker session where we will spend up to an hour discussing expectations, needs, desired outcomes, motivating factors, etc., to help us both determine if there’s a positive synergy between us.

If after the ice-breaker session we commit to working together, I will email you the assessment materials, payment agreement and coaching contract, which are to be filled out and returned to me, prior to our first coaching session.

The Discovery Session
During this extended 2-hr session, we will cover the following core competencies and where your business is currently in relation to each:

  • Core product or service knowledge
  • Customer service
  • Sales & Marketing
  • Systems and SOPs (standard operating procedures)
  • Networking
  • Team building & development

We will also explore your current vision, strategy, proposed action steps and areas of growth and begin to build the framework for your plan going forward.

Immediately following this session, your Coach will email your first set of action steps and will periodically check in with you to ascertain your progress, assist with clearing away any perceived roadblocks, and to celebrate your victories.

What happens in a Coaching Session?
During regular coaching sessions, we will bring a laser focus to your previously assigned action items, as well as your new agenda items and next steps. Most on-going sessions share a basic agenda:

  • Temperature Check:

How are you doing, really? What should I know before proceeding with today’s session, if anything?

  • Wins/Challenges:

What accomplishments are you most proud of? What, since our last session, has made you feel great, excited or inspired? What experiences and/or endeavors have been challenging, fearful and/or overwhelming?

  • Progress:

Where are you at with each of your action items? Is there anything that we need to focus more intently on, pursue in a different direction, alter or delete from your plan of action going forward? What is on your agenda for today?

  • Next action steps:

What will you focus on before our next session? This could include not only your next set of action items, but also initiating new habits, reviewing resources, journal writing, reading and/or any other exercises that may assist you with your growth and in achieving your goals.

  • Wrap-up:

Do you feel that we are aiming in the right direction? Is there anything that you wanted to cover that we have not as of yet? I will reiterate what we have agreed upon as your next action steps.

Have a bias toward action-let's see something happen now. You can break that big plan into small steps and take the first step right away.

Hand Shake

You touch so many lives every day with your positive spirit and inspirational words. As the book says, “Sometimes
all that stands between you and the ride of a lifetime is simply getting in the saddle and seeing what you’re made of” Thank you for reminding me how fun the ride can be!
